Meet Madam Deleena – my alter ego and ‘twin’ sister.
Madam Deleena is the Literacy Advocate for Little People.
Her vision:
To build a tribe of young radical readers who value reading as a fun, rewarding and fulfilling activity.

Madam Deleena’s book shows combine education and entertainment: a highly effective method of learning whilst having fun. These shows are energetic, interactive, colourful and memorable. They are personal and intimate as she presents the books and stories to small groups at a time. Each show is carefully crafted based on the book or story, and adds incredible value by transforming reading from a mere activity to a full-on experience.

There’s nothing quite like reading a book aloud to delight a child! Join Madam Deleena as she takes children on an adventure with books that will tickle, educate, challenge and stretch them, stimulate their imagination, and nurture their love for reading and literacy. Some of the books she reads have been generously donated by Penguin Random House, Pan Macmillan and IBBY SA (International Board on Books for Young People). Madam Deleena also interviews children about their favourite books.
